  •  • Zero-Waste, Up-cycled Soap: Made with the left over shreds of our premium, handcrafted soaps. These "scraps" are folded into fresh oils to create an ultra mild soap and ensures less waste. And who could bear to throw away all that beautiful soap, anyway? Read more about the process, here.

    • Versatile & Mild: Well-cured soap has been double or even triple-milled, and we add a little walnut hull for a light exfoliation that leaves skin soft and clean. The end result is an ultra mild, slightly exfoliating soap bar that smells energizing and clean. 
     
    • Clean, Deodorizing Scent: Sweet Orange and Tea Tree Essential Oils smell clean and fresh. A drop of patchouli oil 'grounds it', ensuring a long lasting aroma that most people really like.

    4.5 oz bars are left untrimmed, stamped with our logo and wrapped with a simple label. You'll love it in the kitchen or shower, and a rustic pair makes a great little hostess gift!

    Soap Shreds May Also Contain, But Are Not Limited To: Cocoa Butter, *Shea Butter, *Pumpkin Puree, *Coconut Milk, *Oat Milk, Brewed Coffee, *Nettle Leaf, Sea Clay, Kaolin Clay, Moroccan Clay, Ground Loofah, Crushed Walnut Hull, Calendula Petals, Crushed Vanilla Bean, Crushed Clove, *Pear Puree, Carrot Puree, Cosmetic Mica, Fragrance Oils, Essential Oils
  • Most Gilded Olive olive soaps are planed or finished. This means I run the edges over a wire that trims them, making the soap feel nicer in your hands when you first use it. This creates a a bunch of soap shreds, so what to do with them all? Upcycle it into new soap.

    These soap shreds are added to fresh oils, lye water and essential oils. Then everything is stick-blended together. 

    These soaps are very mild, and have a bit of scrubby to them. For the most part, they're pretty consistant, but may smell slightly different from batch to batch, depending on the soap shreds used.

    Handcut soaps weigh about 4.5 oz. Please allow for slight variations. 

    Keep soap out of of standing water, all that glycerin is very water soluble! Great for your skin, but you need a draining soap dish. Here's our favorite wood one.
