  • Handcrafted Wood Soap Dish. Keeps your handmade soap out of standing water. Each dish is left unfinished and sanded to a soft finish, with deep ridges that let your soap dry out in between uses.

    If desired, a coating of coconut oil is naturally antibacterial and water-repellant. A buffing with any light oil will help further seal the wood (and deepen its color.)

  • ☞ American Cherry Wood is a reddish color that deepens over time with age and exposure to light.

     ☞ Spanish Cedar is an aromatic hardwood that is a warmer, almost orange-rusty color.

    ☞ Alder Wood is a light, fine-grained hardwood with a subtle, warm tone. It's naturally moisture-resistant, making it a solid choice for a soap dish that gets regular use.

    • Dish measures 4" Long x 2.75 Wide x 3/4" Tall


  • These dishes extend the life of your handmade soaps, and buying them in pairs extends the life of the soap dish.

    Use one soap dish for 2-3 weeks, and then wipe clean with a damp cloth and set aside to allow it to fully dry out. Use the second dish for 2-3 weeks while the first dish dries out, and then alternate them this way.

    Allowing the dishes to fully dry out every few weeks will prevent them from becoming waterlogged and prevent mold and mildew from developing. Rotating them out this way greatly increase the life of a soap dish.

    An unfinished wood soap dish may briefly release natural color when first saturated with water. This is temporary and due to natural tannins in the wood - use only on non-porous surfaces to prevent staining.

The Apple Crisp of my eye!

I have to say, I found these candles in an antique shop out on Long Island and fell in love. I consider myself a candle fanatic, and can usually be found lurking in Home Goods and Marshalls candle aisle for hours looking for a fix, but these candles my dear friends are top notch and may put an end to my saturday searchs. Their fragrance is strong and lingering and heavenly, even unlit, and in a very very magical way...I love them, my new obsession. I love the scent of this soap.I’m so glad i bought this at the end of the season so I don’t have to wait until Spring to buy it.

It has a rich lather and makes your skin feel so soft.
What’s really incredible is It that it smells like a vase full of fresh cut lilacs in the Springtime. The smell is wonderful. It took me on a sentimental journey to the gardens of my dearest friend who passed away. Instead of sadness the scent reminded me of her and how lovely her lilacs were and how she really loved them.
