A lemon sugar scrub so delectable, it's almost a confectionery treat! A rich mix of butters and oils, with pure cane sugar, poppy seed and ground lemon peel to gently polish away rough patches. Daisy especially likes to use it on her upper arms, elbows and her (sometimes) painted knees.
Scented in citrus & herbal lemon verbena, one or two scoops of this lush scrub delivers skin that feels like silk. Slightly whipped, 7 oz. (net weight) of product fits into an 8 oz., recyclable, PET plastic jar and is sealed with our Bamboo paper tape. The butters and oils are 'emulsified' or whipped together, so all the sugar doesn't fall to the bottom, but is instead suspended throughout the product.
The texture is reminiscent of canned cake icing. Soft, fluffy and easy to spread. Although tempting, please do not eat it.
Directions for use: Wash as usual in the shower or bath, and then massage the scrub onto your skin in a circular motion, focusing on rough areas such as elbows, the backs of your arms and knees. Let it sit on your skin for a minute or two. Or three. Rinse gently and pat dry. Use 2-3 times per week.
Warnings: Avoid use on face or delicate areas. Do not use on irritated or sunburned skin. Product contains oil and may cause tub to be slippery, so please use caution.
Warm weather temperatures may temporarily soften the consistency of these butter-rich sugar scrubs. This does not compromise the effectiveness of the product, but if it occurs, simply stir and place it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes to re-harden.

Gilded Olive soaps are hand cut and stamped, and may vary slightly in weight, with a minimum of 4.25 oz. each. They are vegan, palm-oil free, phthalate-free and contain no detergents or synthetic hardeners. Handmade soap is best used within 6 months to a year.
Before use, store in a cool, dry place. A basket on your bedroom dresser is better than a steamy bathroom. When in use, always use a draining soap dish to help your soap last as long as possible.
